Contact · Free workflow audit
Book a free workflow audit.
Tell us a little about your business and the work that eats your week. The simplest way to start is an email: Tom reads every message and replies personally to set up a call. The audit is free, and there's no obligation.
Or write to tom@columbusinnovate.com directly, or call (910) 264-1244. The button opens a new email with a short template already filled in.
Next steps
What happens after you reach out.
No forms to fill in, no sales sequence. Just a person, a conversation and a written answer.
You email
A few lines about your business and the tasks that take up the most time. The template does most of the work.
We reply personally
Tom reads your message and writes back to find a time that suits you for a call.
Discovery call
A conversation about how your business runs and where the hours go, by video or in person.
Workflow audit
If it makes sense, we map your repetitive workflows with the people who do the work.
Written findings
Ranked opportunities, estimated hours, a recommended first project and a written scope. Yours to keep.
Your email
What to include.
A few short answers help us make the first call useful. Don't worry about getting it perfect; rough notes are fine.
- Business name and what you do. One or two sentences is enough.
- Team size. Roughly how many people, and who handles the admin work today.
- The tools you use. Email, CRM, accounting, scheduling, spreadsheets, industry software, whatever your team logs into every day.
- The tasks that eat the most time. The re-typing, chasing, sorting and reporting your team would happily never do again. A rough sense of how often they happen helps. Not sure where to look? Our guide to what to automate first can help.
- Anything sensitive. If you handle patient, client or financial records, mention it so we can plan for privacy from the start, including whether private AI makes sense.
- The best way and time to reach you. Email, a call or a visit, and when suits you.
Please don't email passwords, client records or other sensitive files. If we need to see something, we'll arrange a safe way to do it.
What does the free workflow audit include?
A discovery call, a look at how your team handles its most repetitive work, and written findings: a map of your workflows, a ranked list of opportunities with estimated hours, a recommended first project and a written scope. You keep the findings either way.
Do I need to prepare anything before the call?
Not really. A rough list of the tasks that take the most time and the tools your team uses is plenty. Please don't send passwords, client records or other sensitive files by email; if we need to see something, we'll arrange a safe way.
Can we meet in person?
Yes, if you're in southeastern North Carolina. We meet businesses at their offices across Wilmington and the surrounding counties, and work by video with businesses anywhere in the United States.
Before you write
What is repetitive work costing you?
Move the sliders to match your team. It's rough math on purpose; the free audit replaces it with a real, task-by-task number. Feel free to include your result in your email.
Automate even half of it and that's 600 hours a year back for work that grows the business. Based on a 50-week year.
Service area
In person locally. Remote everywhere.
We're based in Wilmington and meet businesses in person across New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender, Onslow and Columbus counties. Anywhere else in the United States, we work by video and screen share, with the same process.
